Bicycle wheel supporting assembly with integrated brake

The assembly (1) has a pad-type rim brake provided with pads (5) that are built in a carrier assembly structure, two actuating arms (3) and two pad-bearing brake arms (4). Each actuating arm associated with the corresponding pad-bearing brake arm is articulated in a recess (1a) to move between an operating position in which the actuating arms are retracted within the structure, and another operating position providing access to the pad-bearing brake arms. An adjusting unit i.e. distancing screw (9), is interposed between each actuating arm and the corresponding pad-bearing brake arm.
