Device for removing liquids from an energy storage device

The fluid discharge device (3) is connected with an energy storage device, and comprises an inlet opening, through which the fluid from the energy storage device passes into the fluid discharge device. A fluid absorbing unit (7) is provided, which dispenses the fluid to the environment. The fluid absorbing unit is made of nonwoven fabric, woven fabric, mesh, paper, liquid-permeable membrane or particle bed. A porous protective layer is provided, which is arranged between the fluid absorbing unit and the environment.
