Arrangement for attaching a bodywork element to a body structure element

The device (10) has a screw (3) inserted into a plain/threaded hole (9) of a structural element (2). A plastic body element (1) has an edge (30) adapted to be displaced in parallel to a surface (21) of the structural element until the body element comes in contact with a flat surface (6) of a projection (5) of the structural element. The projection surface induces an action on the edge and elastic bending deformation of the body element until the projection is arranged opposite an orifice (8) of the body element, which recovers its initial shape when the projection penetrates into the orifice. The screw is a self-tapping screw. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a body element on a structural element.
