Intake pipe for a combustion engine

The tube has a housing with an inlet opening (2) for compressed air and made of plastic e.g. fiber glass-reinforced polyamide, and a heat exchanger (8) e.g. evaporator of a cooling circuit, arranged in a main channel (4) in the housing. A bypass channel (5) is detached from the main channel in sections, and has an adjusting unit (7) e.g. double flap, for adjustable bypassing of the exchanger through the supplied air. An engine-sided end of the bypass channel is spaced apart from an inlet (11) of an inlet valve (10) of an internal combustion engine by a small distance.
