Securing of loads, in particular in stowage containers

The device has an air bag (14) integrated in a storage space (20) in a vehicle. The air bag partially or completely fills a free space (15) in the storage space in the vehicle. A bottom or lower side (1) of the air bag facing towards goods (21-23) includes a coarse surface. The air bag is made of a material such as rubberized fabric e.g. linen. The air bag is divided into individual chambers. A valve e.g. tire filling valve, is integrated between the chambers. The valve fills the air bag with gas and/or air.
