The assembly (7) has a vehicle floor (11) used as a boot floor, on which an article e.g. bag (9), containing a magnetic or metallic element (23) is placed. The vehicle floor has a magnetic fixing unit (41) e.g. magnetic band, for allowing magnetic fixation of the article on the vehicle floor. The vehicle floor is provided with a bottom (17) carrying the magnetic or metallic element, where the article comprises a handle projecting outwardly from the article and integrated with the bottom. The vehicle floor has an elastic belt for maintaining the article.
