The electrical energy storage device (17) has ultra-capacitors (35) that are arranged on a common printed circuit board (41). The ultra-capacitors facing away from an elastic intermediate layer (45) is pressed against a housing wall (46) by a pressing unit. Terminals (43) of ultra-capacitors are extended through circuit board into elastic intermediate layer. The elastic intermediate layer is provided with a high thermal conductivity for dissipating heat loss of ultra-capacitors on housing wall. An independent claim is included for vehicle.
