The electrical energy storage device (17) comprises an electric drive unit particularly a hybrid drive unit, and several ultra-capacitors that are arranged on a common printed circuit board. The test leading portions of the ultra capacitors arranged at the common printed circuit board are interconnected, for measuring the voltage or temperature of the ultra-capacitors. The monitoring power electronic units (10) arranged at the printed circuit board, are connected to the measuring lines. An independent claim is included for vehicle.
