A fuel-filter head unit for internal-combustion engines, comprising a body (2) defining an inlet (4) for the fuel to be filtered, an outlet (6) for the filtered fuel, and an attachment portion (8) for connection of said unit to a casing of said filter containing a filtering element, said unit being characterized in that provided within said body is a compartment (12), set within which is a heating assembly (20), wherein said compartment (12) is in fluid communication with said inlet and is closed by a covering element (14) in such a way that the fuel that enters said compartment moves inside it according to a flow that traverses said heating assembly, and wherein said covering element has an opening (14'), designed, in the condition where said fuel-filter head unit is installed, to set said compartment in fluid communication with said casing of said filter.
