The apparatus (1) has voltage-controlled actuator (2) for direct or indirect generation of a brake pressure. A control unit (6) that adjusts power supply voltage (Uv) of the actuator, so that predetermined output voltage (Uz) of the supply voltage of the actuator is switchable.
