The vehicle seat (101) has a seat part (102) with a backrest and a supporting structure (107). The supporting structure is an asymmetric structure (118) having substantially vertical main force struts (119,120,121). The main force struts are brought together in a node region (116) on a top side (115) of the supporting structure. One main force strut is arranged forward to a front support structure foot (141).
