The vehicle seat has seat portion (102), backrest, belt restraint system and support structure (107) for supporting the seat portion. A belt buckle (105) is placed in seat portion (113). The support structure having asymmetric structure (131) is provided with vertical main force struts (138,140,142), where struts located on top side (148) of support structure are brought together. The struts are provided with foot (139,141,145). An attachment portion of belt buckle is arranged in lower portion of strut (142).
