The turbo-machine has two radial impellers (1, 2) whose rear surfaces (3a, 3b) are faced with each other. A rotor shaft (4) and a bearing arrangement support the impellers. Axial bearings (5a, 5b) are formed with rotor bearing halves (6a, 6b) and stator bearing halves (7a, 7b) in a region of the impellers. The rotor bearing halves are formed at the rear surfaces of the impellers. One of the impellers is inseparably coupled with the shaft, and the other impeller is detachably coupled to the shaft. The shaft tapers from the former impeller toward the latter impeller with constant diameter.
