The arrangement has a bearing housing through which a shaft (4) passes, where a compressor wheel, a sealing bush and a bearing collar are arranged on the shaft. An axial bearing (42) is fixedly arranged in the housing, and comprises a radial inner region arranged between radially extending walls of the respective bush and collar. Surfaces (54, 62) of the axial bearing extending in radial direction are formed in step-shape to each other such that each surface comprises axially extending surfaces (55, 56, 75, 76) and radially extending surfaces (58, 78) arranged opposite to each other.
