The vehicle has a drive machine (2) for traction drive, a braking system (6) and a driving condition controller, where the driving condition controller has an electronic controller (20) and a driving movement sensor (24,26). The driving condition controller activates the drive machine to a traction movement of the vehicle during a test interval. The braking system is activated for applying brakes of the vehicle, and detecting and evaluating the driving condition information of the driving movement sensor through the electronic controller.
