Elastic tarpaulin with tamper detection

Tarpaulin for covering goods, comprising an elastic fabric which is at least on one side provided with a plastic coating layer, and comprising an electronic tamper detection circuit for detecting tampering with at least one area of the tarpaulin, wherein said circuit comprises an electrically-conductive path provided to said tarpaulin, and wherein said path is made of an elastic and electrically-conductive material able to be applied by a printing or spraying technique, wherein the ratio of the elongation of said elastic and electrically-conductive material to said elastic fabric which is at least on one side provided with a plastic coating layer, is at least 1.05, and wherein said circuit comprises electronic measuring means which are connected with a first and a second end of said path to measure an electrical measurement value of this path, wherein said measuring means are further provided to generate a signal when a change of said measurement value occurs, as a result of tampering with said tarpaulin.
