Vehicle seat holder

The vehicle seat (1) has a pair of rails and a receiving element (3) that is detachably fixed relative to a base surface (2) in normal position via force. An adjusting unit (4) is constructed and arranged such that displacement of the receiving element opposite to the base surface in crash direction is enabled on activation of the adjusting unit. The receiving element is positively connected with the base surface. A locking element (5) is provided in the base surface for maintaining the receiving element.
