Bumper system

The arrangement (1) has crash boxes (2) coupled with a cross beam (3), where the cross beam is made of a rectilinearly running extruded section. A metal sheet component (4) is coupled with the cross beam, where sides of the cross beam is laid opposite to the crash boxes, and the metal sheet component includes a curved profile in a longitudinal direction. The cross beam and the metal sheet component are firmly bonded and/or positively coupled by a screw connection. The metal sheet component is overlapped at an end side of the cross beam. The metal sheet component is designed as cold-formed, metallic component or hot-transformed and press-hardened component.
