Method for operating a longitudinally guiding driver assistance system of a motor vehicle and motor vehicle
DRIVE
August 1, 2012
The method involves evaluating environment data regarding an available longitudinally-guiding travel of a motor car (1) and two other motor cars that are driving immediately one behind the other with respect to a column value, where each motor car has an active longitudinally-guiding driver assistance system (2). An operational parameter of the driver assistance system is adapted based on the column value for reduction of a response time of the driver assistance system based on the behavior to the motor car traveling immediately in front of other motor car.
