External assembly component for a vehicle with a light module

The assembly component (10) has a light module (20) including an illuminant i.e. organic LED, emitting externally visible light cones (30, 31). A plug (27) supplies the light module with an electrical power. The light module represents a separate component fastened to the assembly component. The plug is formed as one-piece with a housing of the light module. The plug fastens the module at the assembly component based on a holder (28) e.g. clip. The module is fastened by a fastening clip at the assembly component. The plug has a female connector connected with a counter plug (13). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an assembly component.
