Roller blind system for a motor vehicle

The system (10) has a pull-out rod (50) attached at an end of a sheet element (40), where the end is turned away from a roller blind shaft (30). Two guide rails (20) guide the pull-out rod on each side between a position associated with a stored state and another position associated with a functional state. The pull-out rod has a curved configuration, and is pivoted around a pull-out rod axle during transfer of the pull-out rod from the former position along the guide rails to the latter position. The roller blind shaft is rotatably mounted on a roller blind shaft support (32).
