Fuel injector with pressure-equalised control valve
DRIVE
June 20, 2012
The fuel injector has a control valve operated by an actuator, where the control valve operates a valve needle for injecting fuel. The valve needle is suspended by control room. The valve sleeve (42) is pre-stressed with a ring surface by valve spring (44) and is arranged at a component fixed to the housing and separates the high-pressure sided valve room (33) from a low pressure sided valve room (49). The guide slot (50) between the valve pin (41) and the valve sleeve is closed in closed seal seat (30) by a sealing (40) for low pressure sided valve room.
