The device (1) has shelf edge (4) comprising an outer surface (5) and an inner surface (6). A fixation part (8) comprises a plate (9) equipped with a fitting unit (20) that co-operates with a reciprocal unit of a compartment. The units are arranged to assemble a shelf (2) in rotation with respect to the compartment. The plate is fixed against the outer surface. The plate is provided with a fixation finger (13) that traverses an opening (14) formed at the edge. A securing cap (15) is fitted on the finger when the finger is plated against the inner face. The fixation part is made of molded plastic material.
