Apparatus for a vehicle boot and vehicle equipped with such an apparatus

The device has interior fitting units (8) e.g. friction linings, formed by a part covering side walls of a trunk (1) of a motor vehicle. Each unit has horizontal upper and vertical lower parts (8a, 8b). Each unit defines, on the adjacent wall, a storage compartment (10) provided with an opening (11) arranged at the part (8a) of the unit. Each compartment extends laterally to a luggage-covering shelf (6). An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle including a trunk forming a storage space.
