Trunk lid for a motor vehicle

The flap (1) has an upper flap part (3) and a lower flap part (4) adjoined to each other in a closed condition. Each of the flap parts is directly or indirectly held at a motor vehicle (2) e.g. van, in a pivotable manner and is movable around horizontal pivot axes (5, 6) relative to the motor vehicle. The flap parts are coupled in such a manner that a movement of one of the flap parts causes a movement of the other flap part. The coupling between the flap parts has a rigid connection steering (7), which indirectly or directly connects the flap parts in an articulated manner.
