According to the invention a turbo-machine component or a turbine nozzle comprises a surface (10), along which a main fluid flows during operation of the turbo-machine. The surface (10) further comprises a plurality of alternating elevations (20) and depressions (30), the elevations (20) and the depressions (30) both being arranged substantially perpendicular to a direction of a main fluid flow (5) of the main fluid. This feature may support that material that is forming the surface (10) will be effected less by a hot fluid that flows along the surface (10).
