Front module for a motor vehicle

The module has bilaterally arranged longitudinal members e.g. longitudinal beams, arranged in front of a bumper beam (1). The bumper beam is arranged between a deformation element and a front end of the longitudinal members. A radiator frame (4) is arranged at limited distance rearwardly toward a passenger compartment. The bumper beam is moved to the passenger compartment according to displacement or deformation of the radiator frame such that a cooling compartment (5) is in contact with the passenger compartment in backward direction.
