Condensate separator for fuel cell system in low pressure operation

The separator (1) has a condensate inlet (3) formed in an upper area of a condensate container (2), and a condensate outlet (4) arranged in a lower area of the container. A float (6) arranged within the container is movable between upper and lower positions. An upper seal (7) locks connection between the inlet and the container in the upper position of the float, and a lower seal (8) locks connection between the outlet and the container in the lower position of the float. An opening (23) of the container forms connection to the surrounding and is closed in the lower position of the float.
