Compact air diffuser

The air diffuser (1) for a motor vehicle interior has a hollow housing (2) with an inlet (3) at one end and an outlet (4) with a movable closure to control the airflow. The closure has a double flap (11,12) movable between an extended closed position and a folded position in which the outlet is open. The flap assembly is flexible to follow the contour of the housing.
