The lighting device (10) has a light source (48), a movable cover (24), at which the light source is fastened, and a control element (21) that interacts with the cover. A storage unit (26) is formed for storing the cover and the control element. The cover and the light source are movable by actuating the control element around a longitudinal axis (L) of the lighting device and by the actuation of the cover around a transverse axis that runs perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
