The seat (1) has a support structure, a seat cushion part attached to the support structure, a partition wall device (14) and a stowing adjustment. The securing devices connect a passing of the partition wall device in the stowing adjustment with a raising of the seat cushion part at the front edge or a swiveling of the backrest in direction on the seat cushion part or a removal of the seat cushion part from the support structure (3) to influence the typical use of the seat. An independent claim is also included for a seating system.
