A vehicle seat assembly has a base support structure configured to be supported on a floor of a vehicle. A rear cushion tube is coupled to the base support structure. A front cushion tube is coupled to the rear cushion tube defining a cushion support structure. The front cushion tube has a generally U-shaped portion with a first end and a second end. The front cushion tube may rotate between a seating position and an upright stowed position. A first pivot bracket is pivotably coupled to the first end of the front cushion tube to the base support structure. A second pivot bracket is pivotably coupled to the second end of the front cushion tube to the base support structure.
