Method for verifying an initial value determined using at least one measurement, method for treating a diesel particulate filter and device for verifying a differential pressure value

The method involves comparing a difference between a difference pressure value (deltap) and a correction value (deltapoffset) with a tolerance threshold value, and detecting the difference pressure value as false when the difference is larger than the threshold value. The correction value corresponds to two difference pressure base values at a diesel particle filter in an exhaust gas section of a diesel assembly when exhaust gas does not flow through the filter, where one of the base values is a value determined by measurement at the filter.
