Vehicle axle steerer and steel rubber socket for use in a vehicle steerer
DRIVE
February 29, 2012
The vehicle steering knuckle has a through-opening (10) whose width (D) increases from ends to the longitudinal center (M). An axle guide is received in the through-opening relative to a steel rubber bushing (50). The steel rubber bushing is secured in the longitudinal direction such that the relative movement between the steel rubber bushing and axle guide is achieved. A steel sleeve (56) that receives a screw or a bolt is surrounded by the rubber ring.
