Steerable vehicle axle for an industrial vehicle

The axle body (1) which is mounted crosswise to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle is connected to the vehicle structure through trailing arms (2, 3) mounted either side of the longitudinal centre plane and of which at least one is fitted with the steering device (8,9). The axle body, trailing arms and steering device can form one structural unit capable of pre-assembly.
