A charging device (1) comprises a turbine housing (2), a bearing housing (3) having a bearing arrangement for a shaft carrying a turbine wheel and a compressor wheel. A gasket (6) is arranged by metal-to-metal connection between orientated flat surface (7) of the turbine housing and orientated flat surface of the bearing housing, where the gasket is resilient.
