Vehicle with cover device for loading structure

The vehicle has an open load structure (1) formed by front walls (4, 5) and side walls (2, 3), and a cover device (7) for closing and releasing the load structure in a closing position and an opening position, respectively. The cover device comprises roof segments (8, 9) that are tiltable by a swiveling mechanism (10), where the swiveling mechanism comprises a drive shaft (12) and a rack gear with a rack. The rack is connected with a gear wheel that is rotatably connected with the drive shaft for opening and closing the roof segments.
