Roof joint for an articulated vehicle

The roof hinge (18) comprises a main carrier (24) which extends to a carriage, where a damper (27) extends to another carriage. A damper linkage (30) is provided at the main carrier for the damper, where the damper linkage defines a rotational axis. The damper rotates around the rotation axis relative to the main carrier. An independent claim is also included for a hinge system for connecting two carriages of multi-unit vehicle.
