Operating ability monitoring system

The system has a person-dependent acceleration sensor and a telemetry unit attached to a vehicle driver or a machine operator and connected with an evaluation unit (220). The evaluation unit receives acceleration values originating from the acceleration sensor and movement values originating from another sensor, where the movement values reflect movement and/or acceleration of a vehicle or a moving machine. The evaluation unit compares the acceleration values of the acceleration sensor with the movement values of the latter sensor for evaluating the values. An independent claim is also included for a method for classifying operating ability of a machine operator of a moving machine.
