Device for finding faults in a photovoltaic installation

The arrangement has a photoelectric incident radiation sensor connected to an evaluation unit, as is the photovoltaic system. Instantaneous power values corresponding to the incident radiation are passed to the evaluation unit by the photovoltaic system and sensor at the same time. A nominal value is derived from their ratio and a signal is generated depending on whether the nominal value exceeds or is lower than a subsequent nominal value.
