Method for setting the laser output

The laser device (1) has a laser unit (3) for generating laser beams (5), where a rotating device (9) is provided for moving the laser unit back and forth between two turning points (W1,W2) around a rotation axis (4). A control device (8) is provided for setting the laser power of the laser beam as a function of rotation angle or angular velocity of the rotating device. An independent claim is also included for a method for adjusting the laser power of a laser beam.
