Laser measuring device and method for aligning a laser beam

Device comprises a laser beam generator (E2), a device for gradient measurement (E3) that rotates either with or relative to the laser generator, a device (M1) for turning the gradient measurement device, a device (M2) for turning the laser generator and gradient measurement device relative to the measurement device (10) around a rotation axis (A3) and a rotating meshing element (12) that is secured to the laser generator and partially surrounds the rotation axis. Independent claims are made for a laser measurement device in which the rotating measurement device surrounds the rotation axis over approximately 50 degrees and for a method of aligning a laser measurement device.
