External rear view mirror

The exterior rearview mirror (01) has a two-part exterior rearview mirror housing (02) which has an opening for a mirror glass. The exterior rearview mirror housing accommodates a base support, on which the mirror glass is arranged in an adjustable manner. The snap-in connections are attached among one another between the housing parts (03,04) or between one of the housing parts and the base support.
