The motor vehicle axle (2) comprises an axle pipe (4) and a wheel hub (6), which is connected with the axle pipe. The wheel hub has a stationary outer ring (8) and a rotating inner ring (10). The stationary outer ring of the wheel hub is connected with the axle pipe. A mounting sleeve (18) is provided, which connects the wheel hub with the axle pipe.
