The wheel mounting system, comprising a support (11) connected to the axle, a hub (31) and a two-row bearing (2), has the brake disc (44) fixed to an outer rim (43) of a wheel carrier (41) fixed to a collar (33) on the outer end of the hub. The bearing has two inner rings (23, 24) held against the inner surface of the collar by a nut (52) on a threaded surface of the hub.
