Manually operable adjusting system shared by two lighting devices, one of which being automatically adjustable

The device (2) has frames (4, 6) movable in rotation around vertical and horizontal pivoting axes (12, 16) respectively fixed to a vehicle and one frame. A motorized adjustment device (20) moves in translation between the frames for automatic adjustment of light beam in a direction corresponding to one of the axes. The adjustment device comprises an external gear (38) centered on its translation axis and acting on a conversion mechanism converting rotation of a motor into translation. The adjustment device is arranged such that the translation axis is aligned with the vertical pivoting axis. An independent claim is also included for a head light for a motor vehicle, comprising a lighting device.
