Door impact absorber

The absorber (1) has a profile (2) formed of a metal plate and exhibiting a hat shape in cross section. The profile includes a bar (3) and brackets (4, 5) on a predominant part of length of the absorber. The bar comprises a seam (7) in a middle length section (6), where ratio of depth of the seam to height of the profile in a center part (M) ranges between 1:3 and 1:6. Wing sections are provided in the middle length section, and transversely projected toward lower edges of the brackets. Each wing section comprises base sections projected from the lower edges.
