Roll bar arrangement for a motor vehicle comprises several hollow profile sections (24, 25). At least one hollow profile section is reinforced. The hollow profile section consists of at least two hollow profile elements (26-28) that are joined together and have different wall thicknesses (W1, W2). The hollow profile element (27) with the greater wall thickness is made in one piece and is arranged in a first connecting region (23) between two hollow profile sections and/or in a second connecting region between one of the hollow profile sections and a fixing element for an attachment.
