The sliding window guide (4a) has a pivotally moving intermediate link (7) formed in a compensatory storage unit. A guide rail (6) is connected for stabilizing the holding device (5). The guide rail effectively absorbs the acting transverse forces and the torsional forces. The intermediate link is articulated at the holding device and the guide rail.
