The present disclosure provides a battery swapping robot and a lifting device thereof. The lifting device includes a base (). The base () is provided with at least two vertical posts (), each post () is vertically provided with a guide rail (), the guide rail () is movably provided with a lifting support arm (), and the lifting support arm () is connected to a lifting driving mechanism (). The upper limit of the lifting height of the lifting device is increased in such a way that the post and the lifting support arm slide against each other, which breaks the limitation that a battery cannot be lifted beyond a crossbeam in the prior art, and the power swapping mode is safer, and more reliable and efficient. The structural space of the power swapping robot adopting the lifting device is more compact and effective.
